Previously, he worked as a Graphic Designer at Rockstar Games and as a Senior Graphic Artist/Marketing Artist at Ubisoft.

Before Ubisoft, Matt worked at Bizarre Creations (Liverpool, Activision) on AAA titles such as:
James Bond: Bloodstone and Blur.
Matt was invited to speak at Animex Game Festival (2015) and regularly guest lectures at universities including Goldsmiths, Teesside University, Leicester De Montfort, Hull University, and University of Bolton. His talk, “How I Got a Job in the Games Industry,” remains a student favourite.
He is also the published illustrator of YES PAUL! Illustrated Insights into Paul Sykes and has exhibited personal artwork internationally, including an invitation-only showcase by Stereohype.
His art has even once been liked by icons like Dennis Rodman!!.
Outside of gaming, Matt has a rich background in personal development (young people), informal education, and retail—where he became a master shoe fitter with the uncanny ability to guess TV screen or shoe sizes at 300 yards.

EDUCATION & RECOGNITION
Teesside University – BA in Game Art (1st Class), winner of EXPOTEES 3D Modelling Award (DUEL artwork, inspired by Spielberg), and an internship at Ubisoft.
Nominated for Develop’s 30 Under 30, until organisers discovered he was actually 35.
Studied Art at Brighton and Hove College, Social Psychology at Edge Hill University, and Informal Education at George Williams College, London.
With an unblemished 25-year employment record, Matt proves that being a dyslexic lad from a mining town doesn’t hold you back when you’re driven by creativity, curiosity, and passion.
